We called up to make sure everything was open and the lady said sure come down! Don't stress I won't close for a little bit (even tho no customers). When we arrived all of the icecreamery was shut and we got sat in the restaurant behind it. She gave us the wrong menus (food menu) and got grumpy with us. And then she just seemed grumpy the whole time waiting for us to go!Our 'fruit exotic' waffles which was supposed to be fresh seasonal fruit consisted of slim pieces of banana and FROZEN blueberries. The icecream was okay, slightly weird. And our waffles were burnt yet still rawMy milkshake tasted like I was drinking caramel sauce,yuck, and slushie was so sweet and couldn't even drink out of a straw it was mainly ice shards.It was awkward and we really just wanted to bolt the minute we walked in. Would not recommend
This place has changed its name to Smugglers Cove and has been redecorated and is now open 12-7 ! There are currently 15 flavours of home made ice cream, and lots of drinks to choose from!
I just paid $12 for a choc mint mega shake and then had to wait close to 20 minutes only to get a large cup of almost cold green milk with a hint of mint and chocolate.Extremely disappointed.
Why even open. We were excited to get fresh waffles from all the sds in the brochures. The shop looks dingy inside. The ice cream was obviously partly defrosted recently. But the killer was no service. Wd arrived and saw ring bell for service. Hell nearly deafened by the bell. We waited and waited and after 10 minutes went to walk out. A lady sitting in a chair said she is on her own. So we were joined by another couple and waited another 8 minutes. Heck even a shout out that they will be with us soon would have been good. We walked out. Wont be back.
Waffles weren't cooked properly, the service was awful, milkshake was watery, and to top it off the prices were expensive. Wouldn't come here again.
